Our RC Riesling is only made in the years when we believe we can produce a truely exceptional wine with the capacity to age gracefully and which will demonstrate the pristine line and length of an outstanding Riesling.
This limited edition wine was sourced from our Cellar Door block on the Estate and made with only the purest free run juice.
Our estate Riesling is the core at Crabtree Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, our Riesling embodies the quintessential characteristics of a Clare Valley Riesling. This captivates with its vibrant aromas of lime zest, lemon blossom, and a subtle hint of white florals. On the palate, it presents a delightful blend of flavors, including crisp green apple, juicy citrus, and a touch of flinty minerality. Sourced exclusively from the esteemed Crabtree Estate, this exquisite Riesling promises a wine of unparalleled quality and character.
Sourced from a young vineyard just outside the township of Clare, this 7 year old site is now producing fruit of exceptional character - and our first release of Faino is proof!
Delicate aromas of crushed apple, lemon blossom and spring flowers lead in to a bright citrus-driven palate. Picked at first light and gently pressed, the wine carries a refreshing backbone of lemon and grapefruit, finishing with a distinctive , savory touch of olive juice salinity.
While this Fiano will reward with some time in the bottle, we recommend enjoying it within 3-5 years - ideally with good company, cheese -and a generous grazing board.
Introducing the 2025 Semillon - a true gem from the Watervale region.
Handcrafted with precision this vineyard is just 2KM from our estate. The dry growing conditions of 2025 made yields from this vineyard extremely low. The resulting fruit from the low rainfall has resulted in a fantastic wine that we have matured in large format oak. Whole clusters straight to the press ensured the purest juice without any oxidation. The bouquet reveals ripe pineapple, tantalizing tropical fruit salad, and a touch of oak which sets the scene for a unique Semillon.
The palate bursts with refreshing Fuji Apple and sweet pineapple, with a tight and firm acid profile that stimulates the senses with every sip. This Semillon truly delights, with vibrant varietal expression making it the perfect partner for oily fish, roast chicken, or succulent duck. For those who appreciate ageing wine, allow 8-10 years to reach an ideal drinking state. Just 55 dozen produced - a rarity and one to be savoured.
