2025 Fiano
2025 Fiano
Sourced from a young vineyard just outside the township of Clare, this 7 year old site is now producing fruit of exceptional character - and our first release of Faino is proof!
Delicate aromas of crushed apple, lemon blossom and spring flowers lead in to a bright citrus-driven palate. Picked at first light and gently pressed, the wine carries a refreshing backbone of lemon and grapefruit, finishing with a distinctive , savory touch of olive juice salinity.
While this Fiano will reward with some time in the bottle, we recommend enjoying it within 3-5 years - ideally with good company, cheese -and a generous grazing board.

Fiano continues to establish itself firmly in Australian soils, and this Clare Valley example shows why. Light, airy and racy, it opens with crunchy lemon and grapefruit, underpinned by a subtle sea spray note that adds complexity. The palate is finely balanced with bright intensity, making it a wine for drinking and enjoying in its youth. 93/100

The Italian white grape, Fiano, continues to grow in popularity and deservedly so. This example from the Watervale subregion in the Clare Valley is yellow in colour. There are notes of walnuts, citrus, stonefruits, green olives, pears and almonds on the nose. This is nicely balanced with a juicy palate, zesty acidity and an attractive lingering finish. Savoury in style, it will drink very well over the next four to six years. 92/100
