The Robert Crabtree Range:
The finest examples of Clare Valley wines we can make from our Estate. Named after two important men in the history of Crabtree Wines. Robert Crabtree founder, and Richard Cane the patriarch of Crabtree Wines.
The RC Shiraz Cabernet is a blend of 60% Shiraz and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon.
This wine is dedicated to my father, Richard Cane. It is simply the best wine we could make from the 2022 Vintage, an elegant and sophisticated expression of Shiraz and Cabernet.
The Shiraz provides a deep, rich structure with elevated fruit concentration and a firm oak profile shining through, while the Cabernet provides the body and length for this fantastic wine, with plenty of dark berries dazzling through - it resembles Black Forest cake.
2019 Estate Cabernet
Soft, succulent medium-weight red bolstered with firm, gravelly tannins and lashed with pristine dark fruit characters. Choc-berry, pickled plums, black olive and sage leaf to sniff on. Flavours more boozy, rich with ripe plum, dark chocolate, more black olive and that rumble of grippy tannins. Finishes fresh, long and chewy. Does a great job of heft married to drinkability.

2022 Estate Shiraz
This wine is rich, intense and a perfect accompaniment to you favourite cut of beef or lamb.
The perfumed nose brings notes of blueberry, blackberry , spice and dark chocolate. The fruits are very well integrated on the palate bringing an extra element of toasted oak to bring this wine together to have an exceptionally powerful but elegant estate Shiraz.
Our Tempranillo is medium body in style, with a fresh and bright palate, resembling the Spanish "Crianza" style. Expect cherry/cherry ripe flavours on the nose and palate, with a lovely touch of French oak in the background.
A beautiful wine, that is the perfect accompaniment to lighter food - think Spanish and Italian food.
