Soft, succulent medium-weight red bolstered with firm, gravelly tannins and lashed with pristine dark fruit characters. Choc-berry, pickled plums, black olive and sage leaf to sniff on. Flavours more boozy, rich with ripe plum, dark chocolate, more black olive and that rumble of grippy tannins. Finishes fresh, long and chewy. Does a great job of heft married to drinkability.

Open fermented and basket pressed using traditional methods then matured in a blend of new, one and two year old French oak barriques for 18 months.

Blackcurrant pastilles, some bay leaf and olive. Tight and firm. A confidently structured wine with really good internal architecture and a firm ironstone spine. A good one for the cellar.
Seriously structured. Dark fruits with a slight herbal edge. Lifted aromatics, long finish.

Slightly two paced, sweet/sour. Dark berry fruit, some squishiness in the middle. Some leather and lacquer, old furniture and floor boards. Just a touch clipped on the finish.
